The "Glossary of Media Terms " is now available in shops of the Folio publishing house

Recently Media Resources Management presented its new project to the media market – the "Glossary of Media Terms".  Folio publishing house not only supported the idea to publish this book but was also involved in distributing of the book in major book shop networks of the country. At the moment the Glossary is available in large book shops of Kyiv, Kharkov and Dnepropetrovsk. 

"Glossary of Media Terms " was created for the managers of the media industry as well as for the students of the faculties of journalism, marketing, television and advertising. It is the very first edition of this kind to include the most popular words used by the modern media manager starting from such basic terms as the ''TV producer" and to such complicated abbreviations as "Tvr%", "SDTV" and slang expressions like "on-air bumpers" etc. 

The edition is opening a new printed series "The MediaBook". The aim of the MediaBook project is to create useful business books for the professionals of the media business. Soon the book series will be continued by the new editions: "The Media Managers of Ukraine", "The Media Managers of Russia", "The Media Events" etc.

Each chapter of the book was not only edited but also evaluated by well known and respected experts – the leading managers of the media market. They supplemented the vocabulary with their terms and additional information. For example, Chapter "Television" was evaluated by Alexander Bogutskiy, Director General of the ICTV channel, Natalia Lygachova, Director of the "Telekrytyka" LLC, Olga Rosmanova, the head of the media department of the GfK Ukraine, and Sergey Sozanovskiy, the head of the Board of JSCC "Ukrainian Independent TV Corporation" (the Inter TV channel). Chapter "Internet and New Media" was edited by Sergey Boyko, President of the JSC "Volya Cabel", Oleg Pylypenko, manager of the development programs of the business company "Astelit" (Life:), Roman Savvin, the head of the department of development of the m-Commerce and content of the JSC "Kyivstar GSM" etc.
